Franco Carlo Ricci, Vittorio Rieti
La prima ed unica monografia sulla figura e l’opera di Vittorio Rieti, musicista di rilievo internazionale, nato alla fine dell’Ottocento ad Alessandria d’Egitto, vissuto a Roma ed a Parigi tra le due guerre e poi naturalizzato americano. Ha composto per i Ballets Russes di Djagilev. Eseguito dai più grandi interpreti fu in rapporti di reciproca stima con i massimi compositori del Novecento.
The first and only monograph on the figure and work of Vittorio Rieti, musician of international importance, born at the end of the nineteenth century in Alexandria, Egypt, lived in Rome and Paris between the two wars and the naturalized American. He composed for Djagilev’s Ballets Russes. Performed by the greatest interpreters was in relationships with the greatest composers of the twentieth century.
